Jameel Motors And WeRide Partner On Autonomous Tech In The Middle East

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Jameel Motors, the official distributor of Farizon SV in the UAE, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with WeRide, a global developer of autonomous driving technology.

The partnership aims to promote the adoption of autonomous vehicles across the Middle East by exploring new markets, customer segments, and collaboration opportunities. Through this strategic alliance, both companies seek to support the region’s transition toward smarter, safer, and more sustainable mobility solutions.

WeRide, founded in 2017 and listed on Nasdaq (ticker WRD), develops autonomous driving systems from Level 2 to Level 4 and has tested or operated its technology in over 30 cities across 11 countries.
