Abu Dhabi Launches Study To Redevelop Mussafah Industrial District

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - The Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi has initiated a study to evaluate the redevelopment of Mussafah with the objective of enhancing the region's status as a significant industrial and investment center.

The department has stated that the initial phase of the study will concentrate on revitalizing the district's waterfront. This will involve the introduction of new green spaces and the enhancement of public facilities, all while preserving Mussafah's industrial character.

The broader redevelopment initiative is designed to enhance the efficacy of transport and logistics, resolve future infrastructure and service requirements, and promote a more cohesive work-and-living environment. Road enhancements on critical routes, including the Mussafah–Al Ain Road and Street 8, are to be implemented in order to improve traffic flow and facilitate the passage of commercial products.
