Saudi Arabia’s RTCC And Turkey’s IC İçtaş Win $213 Million Riyadh Airport Contract

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Saudi Arabia's Al Rashid Trading & Contracting Company (RTCC) and Turkey's IC İçtaş have won a SAR800 million ($213 million) deal to build a private aircraft terminal at King Salman International Airport, Riyadh.

The Saudi-Turkish cooperation will construct a terminal spanning over 20,000 square meters, complete with aircraft aprons, parking spaces, internal roadways, ground services, and supporting infrastructure. The facility will serve both private aircraft operations and business aviation passengers.

The deal brings together two Saudi and Turkish construction firms to build a specialized aviation facility as part of one of the Kingdom's major infrastructure projects.

The private aircraft terminal is part of the larger King Salman International Airport concept, which covers around 57 square kilometers and comprises passenger terminals, cargo and logistics facilities, commercial complexes, and supporting infrastructure.

The contract increases development activity at the Riyadh airport as Saudi Arabia grows its aviation infrastructure and transforms the city into a greater international transport and logistics center.
