Holcim UAE Launches ECOCycle Circular Construction Technology

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - During the Make it in the Emirates 2026 show in Abu Dhabi, Holcim UAE introduced its ECOCycle circular construction technology platform.

The technology supports the UAE's efforts to adopt more sustainable and circular construction methods by recycling trash from construction and demolition into new building materials.

Without sacrificing performance or quality, ECOCycle makes it possible to produce building materials that incorporate 10% to 100% recycled construction demolition materials.

The debut coincides with the fact that between 70% and 75% of the UAE's total solid waste stream is made up of debris from building and demolition.

According to Holcim, the technology supports national sustainability goals, such as the UAE's goal of diverting 75% of trash from landfills, and lessens dependence on virgin raw materials.

The business has already implemented ECOCycle technology around the globe, including residential construction projects in Europe that use entirely recycled concrete.

Additionally, ECOCycle materials may help developers and contractors that are seeking sustainable construction standards get international green building certifications.
