Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Caterpillar will release the next-generation CAT 140 LVR Motor Grader in early 2026, upgrading its most popular model with enhanced visibility, operator comfort and advanced technology.
The machine adopts the cab design from the CAT 120 next-gen series, featuring larger windows, a standard rearview camera and options for 360-degree visibility. A redesigned seat and improved HVAC system aim to reduce fatigue and increase safety, while a 10-inch touchscreen integrates functions such as CAT Grade.
The CAT 140 LVR also reduces downtime with extended maintenance intervals and centralized service points. Customers can choose between tandem or All-Wheel Drive powertrains, while an optimized power-to-weight ratio delivers strong performance with favorable fuel efficiency.
Expanded technology options include operator-assist features like stable blade and fully calibrated 3D grading systems. More than 40,000 hours of global testing have already validated the grader’s reliability and fuel economy.
According to Caterpillar, the move to the next-generation platform ensures the CAT 140 remains a benchmark in the motor grader segment.
