BTC Delivers Five Cat 345 GC Excavators In Libya

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Burniq Tractors Company (BTC) has delivered five Cat 345 GC hydraulic excavators to a Libyan client, who also received spare parts and hydraulic hammers.

The 345 GC is a 42.2-tonne crawler excavator driven by a Cat C9.3 engine that generates 258kW (346hp) of net power. In its usual configuration, it has a maximum digging depth of 7.2m and a ground-level reach of 11.29m.

The excavator's 2.41m³ bucket provides up to 235kN of digging power and 198kN of stick force. Its hydraulic system has a maximum flow rate of 630 liters per minute, which allows for heavy excavation, loading, and earthmoving tasks.

BTC carried out pre-delivery checks and machine configurations before shipping the five excavators to the client. The machines may be used for both excavation and breaking thanks to the hydraulic hammers that come with them.

BTC, based in Benghazi, was founded in 2021 as an authorized Caterpillar dealer offering equipment sales, spares, and maintenance services. The distributor also represents equipment companies including SEM and Atlas Copco.
