UAE’s Western Bainoona Group Orders 150 Mercedes-Benz Actros Trucks

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Emirates Motor Company, a subsidiary of the Al Fahim Group, has executed an agreement to provide Western Bainoona Group (WBG) with 150 Mercedes-Benz Actros 4048 S 6×4 tractor heads. This agreement will enhance the contractor's heavy transport capabilities in the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement, which was finalized in 2026 with the involvement of Daimler Truck AG and Daimler Truck Middle East Africa, is indicative of the ongoing demand for high-capacity vehicles in the infrastructure and construction sectors of the country.

As WBG advances large-scale projects nationwide, the Actros units, which are designed for demanding haulage and construction applications, are anticipated to improve fleet efficiency, safety, and reliability. The group's ongoing fleet modernization and standardization strategy is bolstered by the addition.

Western Bainoona Group is one of the UAE's largest fleet operators and provides industrial services, transportation, and construction. Emirates Motor Company – Commercial Vehicles is the authorized distributor for Mercedes-Benz vans and Daimler Trucks in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, offering sales and after-sales support.
