Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - MAN Truck & Bus has selected Libya Motors Company (LMC) as its official distributor in Libya, signaling a fresh push by the commercial vehicle maker into the North African market.

The cooperation was officially formed at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, with LMC handling MAN vehicle sales, as well as service and aftersales support for clients across Libya.

MAN stated that LMC was chosen for its strong local presence and automotive sector knowledge. The cooperation will concentrate on growing the MAN business in Libya while also providing lifecycle support to truck and transport companies.

The appointment provides MAN with a committed local partner as demand for commercial vehicles and transportation equipment rises with Libya's infrastructure, logistics, and restoration activities.
