Trojan, Samsung Start Work On 1,000MW Al Dhafra Power Plant

Trojan General Contracting, in partnership with Samsung C&T, has begun site work on a 1,000 MW open-cycle gas turbine power plant in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region. The project supports the UAE’s growing energy needs and aligns with national efforts to integrate advanced energy technologies, led by EWEC, Taqa, and Masdar under the UAE’s AI strategy. The plant will enhance grid stability and ensure reliable power during peak demand periods.
