
Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Raya Al-Tajdeed Contracting Company, a Saudi Arabian Refineries Company (SARCO) unit, has obtained a building contract for SAR100 million ($26.6 million) in Riyadh.
Raya Al-Tajdeed, which is 35% owned by SARCO, will develop and execute projects for a worldwide education firm. The contract was granted on August 19 and will last for 24 months.
In a separate business deal, Advanced Industrial Supplies Company (Lawazim Industrial) secured a SAR12.9 million ($3.4 million) subcontract from Saudi Binladin Group for a National Guard housing construction in Yanbu.
The 12-month package includes the procurement and installation of wooden doors, with the financial contribution to SARCO set to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The contracts total more than SAR112 million ($30 million) in new construction work for SARCO-affiliated enterprises in Saudi Arabia.
