SAMSON Stormajor Machine Still Operating In Saudi Arabia After 30 Years

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - A SAMSON Stormajor bulk materials handling equipment installed in Saudi Arabia in 1995 is still running after more than three decades of routine maintenance and only minor adjustments.

SAMSON Materials Handling featured the machine during a recent tour to Saudi Arabia alongside its local partner Sweidan Industrial Services, proving the equipment's durability in challenging bulk handling applications.

The Stormajor is a mobile bulk materials handling system developed for receiving, stockpiling, and transferring goods in sectors such as mining, minerals, ports, and electricity. According to SAMSON, the Saudi unit has had comparatively few modifications since its initial commissioning, with normal maintenance keeping it functioning.

SAMSON, a member of the AUMUND Group, has been manufacturing mobile bulk handling equipment since 1966, providing solutions for a wide range of industries, including mineral processing and mining, port terminals and industrial facilities.
