Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - To improve logistical and industrial capacities in Fujairah, Fujairah Terminals, a division of AD Ports Group, has entered into three important land leasing agreements with Fujairah International Airport, Fujairah Free Zone Authority, and Al Dahra Agriculture Trading.
The agreements are intended to improve regional trade operations, supply chain integration, and freight connection across a total land area of 130,000 square meters.
The extra land will facilitate the development of logistical infrastructure and enhance operational effectiveness across the marine and industrial ecosystem of Fujairah Terminals.
The agreements would strengthen Fujairah's position as a vital gateway that links the United Arab Emirates with commercial routes across East Africa, the Red Sea area, and the Indian subcontinent.
Additionally, the action supports broader national initiatives to improve industrial development, economic diversity, and supply chain resilience via integrated logistics infrastructure.
With infrastructure built to handle bigger boats and increasing regional trade volumes, Fujairah Terminals runs a multipurpose port facility that can handle container, general cargo, ro-ro, and cruise operations.
