Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Volvo Construction Equipment showcased a wide variety of new equipment, services, and digital solutions at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, with the motto "Power Your Ambition."
At its 55,000-square-foot stand, the firm showcased over 20 machines, including 14 new or first-look models in both electric and conventional power.
The exhibit included Volvo Trucks equipment as well as financial solutions from Volvo Financial Services, showing the Volvo Group's broad capabilities.
Since the last CONEXPO, about 40% of the Volvo Group's machine portfolio has been upgraded, with Volvo CE replacing more than 35% of its equipment range. Key updates focused on excavators, wheel loaders, and articulated haulers, which account for over 70% of the worldwide construction equipment industry.
Among the highlights was the EC560 crawler excavator, suited for heavy infrastructure and quarry work, as well as improvements to the wheel loader line, including a new engine for the L350 and L120 Electric models.
The OEM also demonstrated the A50 articulated dump truck and debuted the SD70 soil compaction to the North American market.
Beyond machinery, Volvo CE highlighted digital services that aim to increase productivity and reliability. Tools like Load Ticket, Connected Map, and ActiveCare® Direct turn machine data into insights that help with fleet management, safety, and operational efficiency.
During the occasion, the Volvo Group reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the North American market with $1.2 billion in key investments, including $40 million for its Shippensburg, Pennsylvania factory, which will commence production of excavators and big wheel loaders in 2026.
