SANY And Holcim Sign $110 Million Deal For Electric And Autonomous Equipment

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - SANY Group has inked a strategic deal with Holcim, a construction materials firm, for equipment delivery worth around $110 million.

The agreement comprises the supply of 100 electric equipment and 20 self-driving trucks to assist Holcim's operations across numerous worldwide locations.

The arrangement expands on previous deployments of SANY electric equipment in Poland, Switzerland, and France, where the technology was utilized in quarry operations to enhance efficiency and lower emissions.

The collaboration aims to accelerate the deployment of electrification and automation in construction and materials handling, therefore complementing Holcim's NextGen Growth 2030 vision and wider decarbonisation objectives.

SANY said that the partnership underscores the increasing need for low-emission and intelligent equipment solutions in the worldwide construction and quarrying industries.
