Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - JCB has selected Asas AlJood as its official Power Products dealer in Saudi Arabia, expanding its distribution and aftersales network as infrastructure, building, and logistics activities boost demand for power equipment in the Kingdom.

The appointment is restricted to JCB Power Products and does not include the manufacturer's construction equipment distribution in Saudi Arabia. Abunayyan Trading Company is still a JCB construction equipment dealer, selling machines such as backhoe loaders, excavators, telehandlers, wheel loaders, skid-steer loaders and compactors.

Asas AlJood will manage JCB Power Products sales and servicing, with a focus on clients in construction, infrastructure, logistics, municipalities, and other industrial applications, according to the new deal.

Asas AlJood operates in Al Khobar, Jubail, and Jeddah, supplying equipment and services to clients in Saudi Arabia's oil and gas, petrochemical, electricity, desalination, and industrial sectors. It provides equipment supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair services.

The appointment provides JCB with a dedicated Saudi channel for its power equipment, in addition to its current construction machinery business via Abunayyan Trading, which strengthens the manufacturer's coverage of the Kingdom's construction and industrial industries.
