Hyundai Launches HX230 Next Generation Excavator At CONEXPO 2026

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Hyundai Construction Equipment expanded its Next Generation HX series with the introduction of the HX230 crawler excavator at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026. This machine is engineered to enhance operative control, efficiency, and productivity.

The HX230 is a part of Hyundai's latest series of excavators, which feature completely electro-hydraulic (FEH) controls. These controls replace conventional hydraulic pilot systems with electrical signals, resulting in a more precise machine response and a smoother operation. Additionally, this technology contributes to the reduction of fuel consumption and the enhancement of efficacy in comparison to previous models.

The HX230 is a mid-size crawler excavator that is designed for applications such as general construction, infrastructure, and material handling. It is rated at approximately 186 horsepower.

The machine is a component of Hyundai's Next Generation HX excavator line, which is designed to enhance operator convenience, safety, and serviceability while simultaneously increasing productivity.

Hyundai's strategy to broaden its excavator portfolio with machines that integrate digital technologies, improve fuel efficiency, and incorporate advanced hydraulic control for modern construction sites is underscored by the HX230, which joins other models in the new HX family, including the HX260, HX300, HX360, and HX400.
