Caterpillar Highlights AI, Autonomy And New Equipment At CONEXPO 2026

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Caterpillar Inc. demonstrated a variety of innovative technologies, services, and products at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, all geared at increasing productivity, safety, and labor efficiency on contemporary job sites.

The business highlighted how linked platforms and digital technologies enable contractors to manage equipment, operations, and data across whole fleets. The Cat® AI Assistant simplifies interaction with equipment and digital systems, while VisionLink™, a collaboration with Geotab Inc., integrates fleet data to enhance uptime, safety, and operational visibility.

Caterpillar also highlighted breakthroughs in automation, such as its self-driving Cat® CS12 soil compaction and new collision prevention technology in the Cat Detect safety portfolio.

New power solutions, such as the C3.6 and C13D engines, were shown, with the goal of supporting continuous worksite operations while enhancing machine performance and efficiency.

Caterpillar also unveiled Cat tiny at the exhibition, a streamlined customer experience for smaller contractors and emerging enterprises that makes acquiring, renting, and servicing tiny equipment simpler.

Live demonstrations were held in a specialized Operator Stadium, where visitors could see sophisticated machine technologies and remote operation capabilities in real-world circumstances. The site also held the finals of the Global Operator Challenge, which recognized the best equipment operators and technicians from across the globe.
