Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Alfardan Equipment and Mobility has supplied five Scania heavy-duty trucks to Licuas Environment in Qatar, including the 420P XT and 350P XT models, to assist waste management and environmental transportation activities.

The fleet consists of two Scania 350P XT trucks fitted with hydraulic loading cranes located behind the cabs. These crane-equipped trucks can lift and load big items, containers, and equipment straight into their cargo bodies, eliminating the need for additional lifting equipment.

Scania's tough XT line includes the 420P XT and 350P XT models, which are designed for severe construction, industrial, and utility applications. The vehicles include strengthened front-end protection, heavy-duty bumpers, and powerful towing capabilities suitable for harsh working conditions.

The 420P XT and 350P XT designations denote nominal engine outputs of 420 and 350 horsepower, respectively. Both use Scania's P-series cab arrangement, which is intended to give good visibility and accessibility during repeated loading, unloading, and site activities.
