Nakheel Awards $950 Million Palm Jebel Ali Villa Contracts

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Nakheel has given Ginco General Contracting and United Engineering Construction (UNEC) contracts totaling more than AED3.5 billion (about $950 million) to construct 544 homes on Palm Jebel Ali.

While UNEC will produce 190 homes on Fronds E and F, Ginco will build 354 villas spanning Fronds A through D. This quarter will see the start of construction, which is expected to be finished by the fourth quarter of 2028.

The villas are a part of the waterfront development's larger residential offering, which includes a variety of architectural styles.

According to officials, the contracts encourage long-term urban development and further Dubai's shoreline expansion, which is in accordance with the D33 economic strategy and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.

In order to improve upscale waterfront lifestyle and draw in investment, Palm Jebel Ali is a crucial part of Dubai's future development plan.
