Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Eagle Hills, a UAE developer, has struck a deal with the Endowments and Minors' Funds Authority (Awqaf Abu Dhabi) to build a $272.2 million commercial project that would finance orphan assistance initiatives.
The project is part of the "Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans" program, which was created under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and aims to establish a long-term financing source.
The deal states that the development would provide long-term benefits that will be used to help orphans with education, healthcare, and living circumstances.
The project seeks to expand social support systems while utilizing real estate development to offer continued financing for humanitarian programs in the UAE.
