ATARA Breaks Ground On Sheraton-Branded Residences In Ras Al-Khaimah

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - ATARA Development has begun development of The Residences at Sheraton Al Marjan Island Resort, the GCC's first Sheraton Residences.

Enabling work is underway, with soil improvement and shoring finished as excavation continues in parallel. Overall building progress is at 5%, with Rakhat building, ATARA's in-house contractor, leading the way.

The beachside development is situated on Ras Al Khaimah's Al Marjan Island in the UAE, next the Sheraton Al Marjan Island Resort. The property will include 159 branded residential apartments with access to over 50 common facilities.

Construction has commenced ahead of the sales launch, confirming ATARA's strategy of moving projects forward before market release to show construction readiness and delivery assurance. Completion is presently scheduled for the third quarter of 2028.
