Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Agility Logistics Parks has launched a new logistics complex in Jeddah, costing $163 million and inaugurated by Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser.
As Saudi Arabia pursues significant infrastructure and supply chain efforts, the project demonstrates sustained private-sector interest in the country's developing transportation and logistics industry.
The park spans 576,760 square meters and comprises about 338,000 square metres of Grade-A warehouses spread over six buildings. It is conveniently placed in Al Mahjar, 11 kilometers from Jeddah Islamic Port and 15 kilometers from center Jeddah.
Agility said that the Jeddah facility is part of its long-term strategy to grow its logistics footprint in the Kingdom. The location is linked to major commercial lines, including Jeddah Islamic Port and the upcoming Saudi Landbridge rail project. It is also intended to be data center-ready, bolstering the country's ambition for modern digital infrastructure.
The idea was created in collaboration with the State Property General Administration. Agility Logistics Parks has additional locations in Riyadh and Dammam, including an ongoing $67 million development in Riyadh that will provide 100,000 square meters of new warehouse space.
