Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - SANY has delivered its SET150S hybrid mining trucks to Ghana Manganese Company (GMC), the model’s first entry into West Africa. Eight trucks were assembled and delivered 15 days ahead of schedule, prompting GMC to place an additional order for eight more units.
The SET150S combines two engines with a 148 kWh battery, producing 1,400 kW of power and achieving fuel savings of over 14% in initial operations. Designed for demanding mining conditions, the trucks enhance efficiency while reducing operating costs.
Since its 2022 launch, the model has been supplied to more than 10 countries, with the Ghana delivery expanding SANY’s global footprint in hybrid haulage solutions.
