Maaden Names Hatch Strategic Delivery Partner For Mining Expansion

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Maaden has struck a strategic delivery owner-partnership agreement with Canadian engineering company Hatch to help develop and execute its growing portfolio of mining and industrial projects.

The deal, inked at the Saudi Arabia-Canada Investment Forum in Jeddah, expands on a memorandum of understanding revealed during the Future Minerals Forum earlier this year and officially establishes Hatch as Maaden's strategic delivery partner.

Hatch will provide engineering, project delivery, and technical expertise for Maaden's major project pipeline, leveraging its global capabilities and more than three decades of experience supporting the Saudi miner's gold, phosphate, aluminum, and alumina operations.

Beyond project execution, the alliance aims to cultivate Saudi talent by enhancing engineering capabilities, technical skills, and workforce development to support the Kingdom's long-term mining goals under Saudi Vision 2030.

The deal underscores Maaden's ongoing commitment to boosting Saudi Arabia's mining industry and emphasizes the importance of foreign technical skills in expediting the Kingdom's crucial minerals and industrial development agenda.
