AMAK Secures Gold Exploration License In Saudi Arabia

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has granted Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company (AMAK) a 10-year mining license for the Khutainah site in Najran Province to explore for gold ore.

The license encompasses 9.84 square kilometers and is next to AMAK's current Guyan mining license, which includes the company's Guyan Gold Mine and processing facilities. Mining at Khutainah is set to commence in the first quarter of 2026.

According to the company, this will increase utilization efficiency, lengthen the working life of Guyan facilities, and assist cut capital and operating expenses via pooled resources and integrated operations.
