AD Ports Group Expands Global Reach

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - By growing across ports, shipping, logistics, and industrial zones, AD Ports Group is solidifying its position as a major player in international commerce and logistics.

The Abu Dhabi-based company, which is primarily owned by ADQ and registered on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, now operates in over 50 countries and oversees 34 port terminals in various regions.

Its integrated architecture supports industrial activity and cargo movements by connecting port operations with shipping, logistics, and economic zones. Additionally, the firm manages more than 550 square kilometers of industrial zones via KEZAD and has a fleet of more than 300 ships.

Acquisitions like Global Feeder Shipping and Noatum have fueled recent growth, bolstering its position in feeder services, freight forwarding, and automotive logistics.

Due to increasing cargo volumes and terminal capacity, the business recorded revenue of about $5.65 billion in 2025, up 20% year over year, while net profit improved 16% to around $560 million. General cargo volumes approached 60 million tons, while container throughput hit 7.7 million TEUs.

The business had positive free cash flow for the first time since its 2022 IPO, with operational cash flow rising 28% to approximately $1.37 billion as a result of better returns on prior investments.

According to officials, the plan aims to establish Abu Dhabi as a major hub linking Asia, Europe, and Africa by enhancing its integrated logistics platform and growing along important trade routes.
