Potain Introduces MCR 505 J25 Luffing Jib Tower Crane

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Potain introduced the MCR 505 J25, a high-performance luffing jib tower crane for high-rise, crowded urban developments. The model can lift 25 t with jib lengths from 30 to 60 m and 17 t at 65 m with a 4.7 t tip load.

C809 and KMT850 masts allow the crane to stand at 77.2 m, eliminating anchoring and enhancing site logistics. A 15-m out-of-service slewing radius improves mobility on constrained locations.

The MCR 505 J25 operates with complete frequency-controlled mechanisms and enhanced load-curve control. Its VISU+ smart monitoring system provides real-time performance data for accurate load management.

Built for worldwide deployment, the crane supports 50 Hz and 60 Hz power supply and uses adaptive power regulation to reduce consumption when full output is unneeded, serving areas with restricted power capacity. Automatic lubrication, modular jib design, and built-in operation logging simplify installation and maintenance.

The MCR 505 J25, designed for current high-rise construction, meets FEM criteria for lifting, efficiency, and flexibility.
