Hyundai Launches Electric Forklifts For Heavy-Duty Operations

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Hyundai Material Handling has introduced the B-X Series of high-voltage electric forklifts. According to Hyundai, the forklifts can deliver diesel-like performance with zero emissions. Operating at 309–348 volts, the 4–9 tonne range is designed for heavy duty operations.

Hyundai plans to offer heavier vehicles weighing up to 18 tons in 2026.

The B-X Series uses an LFP battery with heating and cooling. It can last up to 11 hours and recharges in about an hour.

Built in South Korea, the forklifts feature low cabin noise, regenerative braking, and safety systems such as pedestrian detection, load sensing, and automatic parking.

Hyundai estimates the B-X Series can cut fuel and maintenance costs by up to 70 percent.

Hyundai Material Handling is part of Hyundai Construction Equipment in South Korea.
