Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Italy-based attachments manufacturer Simex has introduced a new series of screening buckets aimed at landscaping, soil remediation, and compost aeration, therefore broadening its on-site material separation capabilities beyond heavy demolition applications.
The VSE TORNADO range is designed for mini and midi excavators weighing between 1.5 and 10 tons, aimed for light-duty tasks such urban landscaping, green space upkeep, and minor building projects where spatial limitations and material repurposing are essential.
Increasing disposal and transportation expenses, coupled with heightened environmental regulations, are propelling the need for on-site screening solutions. By processing wastes on-site, contractors may recover useable soil and aggregates, hence decreasing landfill volumes and the need to import new materials.
The VSE TORNADO buckets have a three-shaft mechanism with star-shaped screening components, enabling efficient material separation by size, even in moist circumstances. The design facilitates soil remediation, debris extraction, and compost aeration in a singular process, enabling the direct reuse of screened material.
The standard output particle size ranges from 0 to 20 mm and may be modified to either 0 to 10 mm or 0 to 30 mm based on application requirements. Buckets may be equipped with polyurethane implements for wet or sandy substances or steel implements for more abrasive tasks.
The innovative quick-change technology minimizes maintenance needs by enabling the on-site replacement of shafts or individual screening elements, therefore enhancing availability and reducing operating costs.
