Sandvik Launches Dual Powered Screening Machine In Southern Africa

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Sandvik Rock Processing, in collaboration with S&R Enterprises, has introduced its first dual powered mobile screening unit in Southern Africa, the Sandvik QA452e triple deck sizing screen with Doublescreen technology.

The machine is now in operation on a dam project in Lesotho.

The QA452e can operate on diesel or electricity, offering lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions, and extended maintenance intervals. Its hybrid system cuts hydraulic oil use by up to 50 percent over 10,000 hours.

Featuring Sandvik’s patented Doublescreen design, the QA452e delivers up to 30 percent higher performance than traditional screens, with improved material control, accuracy, and throughput.
