MAGNA Appoints Powerx As West Africa Distributor

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - MAGNA has appointed PowerX as its authorized distributor for 11 West African markets, bolstering its presence in the region's expanding quarrying, mining, and construction industries.

PowerX will offer sales, aftermarket support, and technical services for MAGNA's high-capacity crushing, screening, and conveying equipment in Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria.

The collaboration underscores rising demand for bigger, higher-output materials processing equipment as investment in mining, aggregates manufacturing, and infrastructure projects increases throughout West Africa.

The first equipment to be provided under the arrangement is the MAGNA MT6S mobile scalping screen, which is currently on its way to the area. The machine is ideal for quarrying, mining, recycling, and aggregate industries, with a screenbox of 6.1 m × 1.83 m. It can process up to 800 tons per hour. It may be fed by a mobile crusher, wheel loader, or excavator, providing versatility for a variety of material handling tasks.

Terex launched MAGNA to service the large-scale materials processing sector, and its portfolio comprises crushers, screens, and conveyors designed for high-production quarrying and mining operations, with many models available in hybrid configurations.
