JCB Launches 455 ZX Wheel Loader

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - JCB has released the 455 ZX wheel loader, developed for use in a range of operating environments. The model is equipped with a 7.2-litre, six-cylinder DieselMAX engine rated at 165 kW, producing 1,000 Nm of torque at low engine speeds.

It features a ZF powershift transmission, clutch cut-off, and limited-slip differentials.

The loader uses Z-bar geometry designed to provide high breakout forces and short cycle times. The cab is ROPS/FOPS-certified, fitted with air conditioning, an adjustable steering column, and a combination of analogue dials and LCD display.

Maintenance access includes wide-opening engine bay doors, ground-level daily checks, and grouped test ports. Safety features comprise rear-view cameras, non-slip walkways, and high-mounted steering rams. Components from brands such as ZF, Rexroth, and Parker are used in the build.
