Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Hitachi Construction Machinery recently released the EX5600-7P, a 558-tonne ultra-large hydraulic excavator that has 12% more production capacity and is more durable than the EX5600-7 model.
The new model has a bigger 37.5 m³ bucket, a stronger engine and hydraulic power for faster operation, and it uses about 10% less fuel. High-strength steel castings and better welding are two examples of structural improvements that make the building last longer and need less maintenance.
The EX5600-7P has a Cummins QSKTA50-CE engine that produces 1,193 kW and gives it up to 1,480 kN of digging force. It also has LANDCROS Connect Insight for real-time performance monitoring.
Hitachi Construction Machinery is planning to focus on the Australian mining market at first.
