The deal includes 36-ton crawler excavators, which are commonly utilized in the nation, with delivery scheduled till June 2026.
In 2024, the corporation maintained its dominant market position in Ethiopia, owing to the product performance and service network of its Develon brand.
Ethiopia's increasing investment in natural resource development, particularly lithium and cobalt, as well as significant infrastructure projects like the new airport in Addis Ababa, are driving demand for heavy gear.
According to industry statistics, total sales of excavators and big wheel loaders in Africa climbed by about 35% between 2023 and 2024. Building on its current position in Ethiopia, HD Hyundai Infracore plans to grow into surrounding countries and increase brand recognition throughout Africa.
