Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Schmitz Cargobull has enhanced its dry freight portfolio with the launch of the S.BO MULTI, a novel semi-trailer designed for logistics operations characterized by fluctuating load demands.
The S.BO MULTI is designed to accommodate many cargo types, including palletized commodities, general freight, hanging clothing, automotive components, and oversized or loose items. Its adaptable design renders it appropriate for logistics hubs, manufacturing facilities, and industrial transport applications where load kinds and security requirements differ.
An essential characteristic is the integrated double-decker system including aluminum rails and keyhole plates, enabling the implementation of a secondary loading level. This arrangement facilitates the transfer of an extra 33 Euro pallets and accommodates various load-securing methods, including locking beams, clothing rails, belts, and nets.
The trailer body has strengthened, double-shell steel side walls with galvanized keyhole plates to enhance durability and resistance to corrosion. The body, certified to DIN EN 12642 Code XL, is rated for payloads of up to 27 tons. Customers may choose between a basic galvanized chassis or the optional X-TOUGH heavy-duty chassis for increased gross train weights.
The S.BO MULTI has TrailerConnect® telematics as a standard feature and is engineered for optimal maintenance, facilitating reduced downtimes and diminished lifetime expenses. The manufacturing process employs energy-efficient joining methods to minimize emissions.
The S.BO MULTI, with a modular design, substantial load capacity, and an emphasis on durability, enhances Schmitz Cargobull's portfolio for rigorous dry freight transport operations.
