IVECO And Saeed Mohammed Al Ghandi & Sons Complete The Delivery Of Over 50 Units IVECO T-Way And Eurocargo In 2025 To Ras Al Khaimah Public Services

IVECO in partnership with its official UAE dealer Saeed Mohammed Al Ghandi & Sons (SMAG), celebrated the landmark delivery of over 47 units of IVECO T-Way trucks and 5 Eurocargo in 2025 to the Ras Al Khaimah Public Services Department (RAK PSD) during an official ceremony held at Anantara Ras Al Khaimah.

This strategic delivery marks a significant milestone in enhancing the operational capabilities of Ras Al Khaimah Public Services. The new fleet will strengthen the emirate’s waste management operations and environmental sustainability initiatives, supported by the latest advancements in commercial mobility from IVECO.

The newest acquisition to the Ras Al Khaimah Public Services is mainly composed by 47 IVECO T-Way model AD380T43H trucks, supplied in 6x4 configuration, that are engineered for exceptional performance, durability, and versatility and designed to excel in the region’s demanding conditions. The IVECO T-Way features combine high payload capacity with advanced safety features, modern connectivity, and superior driver comfort making it the ideal choice for heavy-duty municipal operations.

In addition, SMAG delivered to Ras Al Khaimah Public Services also 5 Eurocargo ML180E28 equipped for crash cushion mission that will serve the Ras Al Khaimah area.

During the ceremony, guests had the opportunity to explore a comprehensive display of IVECO’s product line-up, representing the brand’s full heavy range represented by IVECO T-Way 6x4 Rigid, featuring a construction-series heavy-duty chassis and the IVECO S-Way 4x2 Tractor Head, designed for long-haul comfort and efficiency.

The event was attended by over 50 distinguished guests, including representatives from the Ras Al Khaimah Government, Ras Al Khaimah Public Services Department, senior executives from IVECO and SMAG and members of press media.

The IVECO T-Way has been designed to offer best-in-class performance in every off-road mission, robustness, and torsional rigidity. It carries over from its predecessors the legendary robustness of the high-resistance steel chassis with a 10mm thick frame, with a Rail Bending Moment at the top of the segment at 177 kNm. The front axle has a maximum capacity of up to 9 tonnes.

Hub reduction on the rear axle is standard to maximize strength and performance. The new heavy-duty rear suspension system for Tandem axles optimises vehicle weight and improves off-road performance with greater ground clearance and a better departure angle.

The IVECO T-Way delivers all the power needed for traction and PTO with IVECO’s reliable and efficient Cursor 13 engine (13 litres) that develops up to 470 horsepower.

The engines are coupled with the proven 16-speed HI-TRONIX automated gearbox, which now also features new functions specifically intended for off-road mobility including a Hill Holder function to help departure on steep slopes, Rocking Mode to help recover traction in slippery conditions and Creep Mode for ultra-low speed when idling; for the on-road sections of the mission, the Ecoroll, function that uses the vehicle’s inertia when travelling downhill enhances the transmission’s efficiency.
