Oasis Trading Unveils New CAT 345 Hydraulic Excavator In Muscat

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Oasis Trading, Oman's authorized CAT dealer, unveiled the new CAT 345 Hydraulic Excavator at a launch ceremony at its Muscat site. More than 220 people attended the event, including officials from government agencies and major construction companies.

The CAT 345's staged unveiling highlighted the excavator's design and capabilities, which were adapted to the difficult job-site circumstances in Oman.

Attendees also saw a large equipment exhibition that included around 15 machines from the CAT and SEM lines, many specialized work tools, and demonstrations of modern telematics systems. Caterpillar staff participated, emphasizing the model's relevance in the area market.

The launch theme, "Perfected to Dig, Move, Save," highlighted the machine's hydraulic performance, material handling efficiency, and fuel-saving technologies designed to reduce running costs. The large turnout and comments demonstrated the continuous need for high-performance equipment that is tailored to local operating conditions.
