The new BOMAG RS 650-2 generation is versatile and can be used for cold recycling as well as for base stabilisation and subsoil improvement measures.
When used as a recycler, old and damaged blacktop surfaces, including the base course, are torn up and crushed. New binder is mixed in.
Pre-spread lime or cement is mixed in during base stabilisation or soil consolidation.
The site can be profiled at the same time with BOMAG’s RS 650-2. Sensors always keep the rear frame in the correct position. Up to five degrees (left/right) can be compensated. Even working on difficult subgrades and soft material is no problem thanks to all-wheel drive and anti-slip control.
