Iraq Purchases 50 CTE Truck-Mounted Platforms

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity has purchased 50 CTE truck-mounted aerial work platforms to assist power network repair and utility operations across the nation.

The purchase was made via CTE's UAE distributor, Precision Machinery, and 18 units have already been delivered. Another 12 units are due to arrive soon, with the whole order planned for completion by December 2026.

The first deliveries comprise numerous 12-metre B-Lift 120HY truck-mounted platforms intended for utility and maintenance operations. The most recent purchase followed a less than a year-old order for nine 15-metre B-Lift 150HY units and one 20-metre B-Lift 200HY.

The B-Lift 150HY has a two-section boom with an insulated fiberglass platform, making it ideal for electrical utility applications, and the bigger B-Lift 200HY has a 20-meter working height and broader outreach for more demanding maintenance operations.

The repeat purchase underscores Iraq's energy sector's ongoing investment in specialist access equipment to reinforce power infrastructure maintenance and increase operational efficiency.
